Helm Platform ("Helm", "we") runs this website and the Helm event-operations software. This page describes what we collect on helmplatform.work and what we do with it, in plain language.
What we collect
- Forms you submit. If you send the organizer interest form or the partner application, we store what you type: name, email, phone, and anything you write about your event or network. We use it to reply to you and for nothing else.
- Partner accounts. Partners get a dashboard login. We store the account details, referral links, and referral activity needed to calculate commissions.
- Referral cookie. If you arrive through a partner's link, we set one cookie (
helm_ref, 30 days) so that partner gets credit if you later reach out. It identifies the partner, not you.
- Analytics. We run self-hosted, cookie-free analytics (page views, referrers, country). No advertising networks, no cross-site tracking, no fingerprinting.
What we never do
- We do not sell, rent, or share your information with anyone.
- We do not send newsletters or marketing email. If you write to us, we write back. That's the whole email program.
- We do not load third-party ad or tracking scripts.
The demo site
The Prairie Sky Pow-Wow demo contains only fictional data created for demonstration. No real dancer, vendor, or volunteer information appears there.
Retention and deletion
Form submissions and partner records are kept while they're relevant to an active conversation or partnership. Ask us to delete what we hold about you, through the contact form, and we will.
